Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Saturday, April 14, 1990 
Haywood Parker, of the 1300 block of Mapole Ave., a retired public works
employee, died April 12, 1990, in his home.

Mr. Parker, a native of Harbinger, N.C., had retired from the City of Norfolk
after 25 years. He was the widower of Susie A. Parker and a Baptist.

Survivors include a stepdaughter, Addie Woodhouse of Norfolk; two grandchildren,
four great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in Hale Funeral Home by the Rev.
J.L. Kearney Sr. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Friends may join the
family at the residence.
