Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - January 16, 1994 
Alberta A. Parker, 48, of the 6200 block of Wellington St., Apt. A, a 
retired nurse, died Jan. 10, 1994, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. 
Mrs. Parker was born in Chesapeake. 
Survivors include a daughter, Dominique Burden of Norfolk; a son, James 
Parker of Atlanta, Ga.; a sister, Amelia Parker of Norfolk; two brothers, 
Johnnie Parker of Norfolk and Donnell Pierce of Chesapeake; devoted friend, 
Larry Bell of Norfolk, and Rose Sawyer of Norfolk; a host of nieces, nephew, 
cousin and friends. 
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Magnolia Cemetery. 
Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery at 12:45 p.m. Tuesday. 
Twilight Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
