Norfolk Journal and Guide, June 25,1960
Eddie N. Parker, 65, of 1307 Outten street, who died June 15 was buried in 
Calvary Cemetery on Monday after a funeral service at Bethlehem Baptist 
Church.

The Rev. J. Q. A. Lassiter delivered the eulogy.  Burial was under direction 
of the Morning Glory Funeral Home.

A native of Elizabeth City, NC, Mr. Parker was a Mason and  a member of 
Eureka Lodge.  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mamie E. Parker;  his 
daughters, Miss Sudie Parker and Mrs. Phedis Jones of New York City;  a 
sister, Miss Pheebia Parker also of New York;  and a brother, Moses Parker, 
of Elizabeth City.
