The Virginian Pilot Saturday October 29, 1960
Mrs. Elizabeth Whitton Parker, 56, wife of Joseph E. Parker Jr. and daughter 
of Arthur M. and Mrs. Mary Snadden Whitton, died Friday at 10:50 a.m. in a 
Norfolk hospital.
Mrs. Parker, a native of Hong Kong, China, lived in Norfolk for a number of 
years, lately at 1001 Gates Ave.  She was a member of Ocean View Chapter, 
Order of Eastern Star.
Besides her husband, she is survived by one brother, Arthur M. Whitton of 
Bayside.
A funeral service will be held at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments Sunday at 2 
p.m. by the Rev. Walton W. Davis, rector of Old St. Paul's Episcopal Church.  
Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
