Parker, 62, of 1365 O’Keefe street, who died at his home, November 1, was held at First Baptist Church, November 5, with the Rev. R. H. Bowling, officiating. A native of Edenton, NC, he had lived here 50 years. His widow, Mrs. Lizzie Parker, a brother, and other relatives survive. He was a Spanish-American War Veteran and a retired navy yard employee. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery. Hale & Company in charge of arrangements.
