Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Tuesday, December 22, 1992 
Lillie Mae Parker, 87, of the 200 block of Nansemond Arch, died Dec. 18, 1992,
in her home.

Mrs. Parker was born in Wilmington, N.C. She was the widow of Brodie G. Parker
Sr. and was a member of Assembly in Jesus Christ.

Survivors include six sons, Theodore Holmes of Chesapeake and Cornelius Ace
Parker, Brodie G. Parker, Predell Parker and Paul A. Parker, all of Norfolk, and
Earl Jones of Wilmington, N.C.; and a host of other relatives.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Evelyn J. Butts.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Assembly in Jesus Christ by
the Rev. Robert Walker. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Viewing will begin
at 3 p.m. today in Carlos A. Howard Funeral Home. Friends may join the family at
noon Wednesday in the funeral home for the processional.
