Norfolk - Samuel Parker of 1013 Baltimore street died in a hospital after a 
short illness.

A native of Norfolk he was the husband of Mrs. Marie Parker and a son of the 
late Frank and Mrs. Irene Eley.

He formerly was custodian of Huguenot Memorial Church, Pelham, NY, and was a 
member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church here.

Surviving is a son, Leroy Smith of Norfolk.  Services were held in Riddick 
Funeral Home by the Rev. Ben A. Beamer Sr.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
