Norfolk Virginian August 15, 1894

The funeral of the late Charles S. Parker took place yesterday afternoon at 4 
o'clock from Chestnut Street M.E. Church and was attended by many friends and 
relatives.  The services were conducted by Rev. T. McN. Simpson, and the following 
gentlemen acted as pallbearers:  Messrs. E. Cunningham, H. Busch, A. Pettit, B. 
James, E. Cornick, Bernard Wood.  The remains were interred at Magnolia Cemetery.
