Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Friday, July 3, 1992 
Idell Parker of the 300 block of W. 26th St., a retired nurses' aide, died July
1, 1992, in a hospital.

Mrs. Parker was born in Tarboro, N.C. She had retired from Lafayette Villa
Nursing Home after 30 years. She was a member of Greater Emanuel Temple.

Survivors include four sisters, Ora Mae Barnes, Mary L. Whitehead, Elnora Smith
and Margaret Beal, and three brothers, Willie Whitehead Jr., Andrew Whitehead
and James L. Whitehead, all of Murfreesboro, N.C.

The funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in Graves Funeral Home by the
Rev. Timothy Delk. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . A wake service will be
from 6 to 7 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home.
