Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Thursday, June 25, 1992 
Mildred Parker of the 7400 block of Oakmont Drive, died June 20, 1992, in a
hospital.

Mrs. Parker was born in Norfolk and was a member of Bank Street Memorial Baptist
Church. She had retired from Norfolk State University after eight years.

Survivors include a son, Edward Parker Jr. of Norfolk; three sisters, Mary
Speller and Agnes Parham, both of Norfolk, and Ida Newby of Salisbury, Md.; two
brothers, Nathaniel McKelvin of Gloucester and Isiah McKelvin of Norfolk; and
two grandchildren.

The graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in Calvary Cemetery
by the Rev. James Griffin. The family will assemble at the residence on
Saturday. Graves Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
