Parker, aged 26 years. Funeral from St. Thomas P.E. Church, Berkley, at 11 a.m. TODAY. Friends and acquaintances are invited to attend. ************************************************************** The Funeral of Mr. Thomas H. Parker The funeral of this estimable and very much admired young gentleman took place Sunday morning at 11 o'clock from St. Thomas P.E. Church, Berkley. The very large attendance of friends and sympathizers, not only from Berkley, but from Norfolk and Portsmouth and the county, testified how very much the splendid character of the deceased was appreciated. The services were conducted by Rev. E.C. Burr, the rector, and he affectionately and feelingly spoke of the Christian fortitude and patience with which his departed young friend bore his long and severe illness and his complete resignation to the will of God. Not one murmur did he make. The congregation were deeply affected. The remains were interred in Magnolia Cemetery. The following gentlemen were pallbearers: Messrs. W.W. Robertson, David R. Creecy, Will Doherty, George Tilley, John Etheridge, Oscar Diggs, Stith Spratley and Edward Lindsay.
