Chesapeake - A funeral service for Mrs. Florence Parker of Route 1 was held
Wednesday in Hale Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Estelle Hodges.  Burial was in
Calvary Cemetery.

A native of Columbia NC, she was a daughter of Seclephus Owens and Mrs. Nettie
C. Owens and widow of James Parker.  Mrs. Parker died Aug. 17 in a Newport News
hospital.

She is survived by her parents and a sister, Mrs. Evelyn Brown of Chesapeake.
