The Rev. W. A. Murphy, pastor, will officiate. Mrs. Parker died July 26 at her home after a long illness. A native of Nansemond county, daughter of the late Louis and Mrs. Annie Parker, and widow of John Henry Parker, she had lived in South Norfolk most of her life. She was a member of the usher and deaconess boards at First Baptist. Surviving are four sons, Jethro, Lasalle, Arthur and Melvin Parker, all of South Norfolk, and two daughters, Mrs. Doris P. Welton of Philadelphia and Mrs. Mazie Parker of South Norfolk.
