Mrs. Emma Parker

Funeral services for Mrs. Parker, 612 Southampton avenue, who died Sept. 8, were
held Sept. 12 from Goodwill Baptist Church with the Rev. W. H. Evans
officiating.  She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Martha Wilson and Miss
Golethia Parker of Norfolk, and Mrs. Ellen Frierson and Mrs. Rose Lee Vaught of
Brooklyn, NY;  three sisters, Mrs. Mary Simmons of Portsmouth, and Mrs. Lydia
Simmons of Coinjock, NC;  Francina Jefferson of Currituck County, NC;  one
brother-in-law, Demus Simons of Sain Jack(Coinjock) NC; and one niece, Miss
(unclear)Jefferson  of Currituck County, NC.  Interment was in Calvary Cemetery
with Wright Funeral Home in charge.
