Parker, died yesterday morning about 9 o'clock at the family residence, at Gilmerton, after an illness of several days of diphtheria. Mr. Parker, the father, was in the city early yesterday morning to secure a trained nurse and received a phone message announcing his death. Mr. Parker was a former resident of this place. The remains were brought to Berkley in the afternoon and interred in the family plot in Magnolia Cemetery. The services were conducted by Rev. Asbury Christian, pastor of Main Street Christian Church.
