Janet C. Parker, 37, of Courtney Ave., died Aug. 23, 1998, at Sentara Norfolk
General Hospital.

Born in Norfolk, she was the widow of E. Parker and a homemaker. Mrs. Parker was
a member of Queen Street Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Clorah E. Moore of Georgia and Asia M. Parker
of Norfolk; a son, Lamont E. Moore of Norfolk; her mother, Elnora E. Bryant; her
father, Henry C. Moorer; two sisters, Marilyn E. Green and Rebecca D. Williams,
both of Norfolk; two brothers, the Rev. Bernard C. Bryant of Charlotte, N.C.,
and Jerry L. Bryant of Norfolk; and a host of friends and family with loving
thoughts and cheerful memories in their hearts.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Queen Street Baptist Church,
Norfolk, by the Rev. Bernard C. Bryant. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . A
wake will be held in the chapel of the Hale Funeral Home from 7 to 8 p.m.
Thursday. The remains will lie in repose at the church from 12:45 p.m. until the
time of the service. The family will receive friends at 362 E. Brambleton Ave.
until noon the day of the service.
