Marwitz Parker, 77, died Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George E. Baker, in Stanford, Ky., after an illness of several months. A native of Norfolk, she had resided in Stanford seven years. Her late parents were Charles A. and Mrs. Elizabeth Miles Marwitz. She was the widow of George Wilson Parker, Sr. Besides her daughter, she is survived by one son, George W. Parker, Jr., of St. Petersburg, Fla.; one brother, Julius Marwitz, of Buffalo, N.Y.; one sister, Mrs. C.A. Barrett, of Norfolk; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. The body will arrive in Norfolk today and be taken to the Sykes Funeral Home, Berkley, where funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
