J. PARKERSON DIED SUDDENLY Veteran Ocean View Fisherman Passed Away At His Residence Yesterday James Henry Parkerson died suddenly yesterday afternoon at 1:20 o'clock at his residence in Ocean View at the age of 66 years. He was one of the most widely known citizens in that section and had been connected with the fish business for forty years. He was owner of the Parkerson Fishery at Ocean View. He is survived by his wife, five sons, Chas. H., J.T., J.H., Jr., Harry, Hubert Jordan, all of Ocean View; five daughters, Mrs. W.I. Lambert, Portsmouth; Mrs. H.C. Cromwell, Norfolk county; Mrs. H.O. Hodges, of Portsmouth; Mrs. Walter Upton Tucker, of Norfolk; nine grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Mary E. Gordon, of Norfolk. The funeral will be held Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the residence. Funeral services MONDAY AFTER?NOON, February 25, at 3 o'clock, from the residence. Friends of the family invited to attend. Interment Elmwood cemetery. ************************************************ The funeral of Captain James Henry Parkerson, who died suddenly Saturday afternoon, will be held from the residence in Ocean View this afternoon at 3 o'clock. Besides his wife, Captain Parkerson is survived by five sons, Chas. H., J.T., J.H., Jr., Harry and Hubert Jordan, all of Ocean View; five daughters, Mrs. W.I. Lambert, Portsmouth; Mrs. H.C. Cromwell, Norfolk county; Mrs. H.O. Hodges, Portsmouth; Mrs. Walter Upton Tucker, Norfolk and Mrs. Forrest Mayo of Norfolk county; one sister, Mrs. Mary E. Gordon, Norfolk and nine grandchildren. Interment will be in Elmwood cemetery.
