Virginian Pilot December 9, 1956

Charles Herbert Parkerson, 71, son of the late James H. and Mrs. Mary Ann 
Creamer Parkerson, died at his home 1519 E. Ocean View Ave., yesterday at 5:45 
p.m.  He is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Ella G. Cromwell and Mrs. Addie J. 
Tucker of Norfolk and Mrs. Cora P. Hodges of Tacoma, Wash., four brothers, Jack 
T. Parkerson, James H. Parkerson, Harry Parkerson of Norfolk and Hubert J. 
Parkerson of Portsmouth and several nieces and nephews.  Mr. Parkerson was a 
native of Norfolk County and has been a resident of Norfolk all of his life.  
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home Monday at 
3 p.m.  Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
