Norfolk - Jessie Randolph Parker Sr., 48, of 1413 Melon St., died Monday, 
August 25 in Norfolk.

A native of Princess Anne County, he was the husband of Mrs. Ethel Mae 
Parker and a son of Jessie Parker.  He was a Baptist and a member of 
Providence Masonic Lodge No. 189.

Survivors also include two daughters, Miss Gwendolyn Parker of Norfolk, and 
Mrs. Marilyn  White of Portsmouth;  a son, Jessie R. Parker Jr. of 
Fayetteville NC;  three sisters, Mrs. Pearl Lacey, Mrs. Geneva Lacey, and 
Mrs. Queenie Jones, all of Norfolk;  a brother, Daniel Parker of Norfolk and 
six grandchildren.

A funeral service was held Saturday, August 30 in St. Mark United Church of 
Christ by the Rev. D. P. Butts, with burial in Calvary Cemetery.  Fitchett 
Funeral Home had charge.
