Virginian Pilot May 15, 1911

Mrs. Alberta O. Parks, widow of the late C.W. Parks, died Sunday morning at 
1 o'clock, at her home, 513 Berkley avenue, after an illness of several 
months duration.  The deceased was 52 years old, was a daughter of the late 
John A. Edwards and a native of Virginia.  She was an esteemed member of the 
Berkley Avenue Baptist Church, was well-known and highly esteemed.  She was 
very active in good work until the time of her illness.  She is survived by 
one son, Woodland Parks, and several sisters.
The funeral will be conducted from the late residence this afternoon at 4 
o'clock.  Rev. W.A. Smith, pastor of the Berkley Avenue Baptist Church, will 
officiate and the interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
