J. Parr Sr. Dies at 67 William Joseph Parr Sr., 67, husband of Mrs. Mary Wells Parr, and son of the late James Edward and Mrs. Virginia Simpson Parr, a lifelong resident of Norfolk, died at 11:10 a.m., Sunday at the residence, 1317 W. 37th St. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Besides his wife, Mrs. Mary Wells Parr, he is survived by three sons, Thomas Anthony Parr, William Joseph Parr Jr., both of Norfolk and Rudolph Vincent Parr of Syracuse, N.Y.; two daughters, Mrs. Dolores P. Jordan of Norfolk and Mrs. Frances Jugan of Cuba; two brothers, George Parr and Lawrence F. Parr, both of Norfolk and four sisters, Mrs. Loretta Smith, Mrs. Bessie Seltzer, Mrs. Janie Bartol and Mrs. Mae Meixel, all of Norfolk. The body was taken to the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, pending funeral arrangements. ********************************************************************** NORFOLK - Funeral services for William Joseph Parr, Sr., who died Sunday at the residence, 1317 W 37th St., will be conducted at the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Wednesday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
