George Parr and daughter of Mrs. Mary Manning Burton and the late William R. Burton, died at 11 o'clock last night, at the residence, 20 Courtland Apartment. Mrs. Parr had been ill a short time. She was a native of Portsmouth and she was well known in the city. She is survived by her husband and mother, four brothers, Carl and William Burton, of Portsmouth; Cleveland Burton, of Greenville, N.C; and O.M. Burton, of Raleigh, N.C.; and one sister, Miss Mary Burton *************************************************************** PARR - In the Courtland Apartments No. 20, Portsmouth, Va., Sunday, February 5, 1922, at 11 o'clock p.m., JANE BURTON, beloved wife of J. George Parr and daughter of Mary Manning and the late William R. Burton. Funeral service in St. Paul's Catholic Church on TUESDAY MORNING at 10 o'clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend. ********** Mrs. Jane Parr, wife of J. George Parr, who died at 11 o'clock Sunday night at the residence, 20 Courtland Apartments will be buried in the Magnolia Cemetery, Berkley, today. The funeral services will be held in St. Paul's Catholic Church at 10 o'clock this morning.
