William Parish of the Virginia Pilot association, died at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. J.T. West in Hardy avenue last evening at 10:45 o'clock after a long illness. The deceased was 80 years old and was one of the best known ladies of this section, she having been a resident of Berkley and Norfolk all her life. She was a consistent member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, and was highly esteemed both for her piety and christian life. The deceased has several distant relatives in this section. The funeral arrangements will be announced later. ***************************************************************** The funeral of the late Mrs. Sarah Dey Parish, who died at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. J.T. West, in Hardy avenue, Wednesday night, will be held in the home this afternoon at 4 o'clock. Rev. Robert Gatewood, rector of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, of which the deceased was a member, will officiate and the interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk.
