Virginian-Pilot  March 8, 1931
Miss Lillie May Parrish, aged 49, daughter of the late John and Mary Everest 
Parrish, died at a local hospital Friday night at 7 o’clock. She was a native of 
Oxford, N.C., and a resident of Norfolk for the past 45 years. She is survived by 
one sister, Mrs. William Garthwright. Services will be held at H. D. Oliver’s 
Funeral Apartments, 610-12 East Freemason street, tomorrow afternoon at 3 o’clock. 
Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
