Mrs. Maude Parron Dies on Street

Funeral services for Mrs. Maude Lesden Parron, 71, of 1818 Canton Avenue, in 
Campostella, who died of a heart attack in front of 326 Granby Street yesterday 
at 10:10 a.m., will be held tomorrow at 3 p.m. at the Graham Funeral Home, 
Jackson and Jefferson Streets, in South Norfolk.  Burial will be in Magnolia 
Cemetery.
Mrs. Parron was a native of Portsmouth and had been a lifelong resident of this 
area  She was a daughter of the late Thomas and Virginia Dunton Sykes and a 
member of Campostella Heights Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, William Letheridge Parron; a daughter, Mrs. H.H. 
Hanbury; a son, Thomas R. Parron; a half-brother, R.S. Sykes and two 
grandchildren, all of Norfolk.
