Norfolk Virginian Pilot September 4, 1953

Mrs. Caroline A. Parrott, 83, widow of Robert D. Parrott and daughter of John A. 
and Mrs. Caroline Angell Smith, died Wednesday in New York. She was a native of 
Norfolk and had been a resident of New York for seven years.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Mary Martin, of Caret; five sons, Robert 
D. Parrott, of Union City, N.J., John A. Parrott, of Roslyn, L.I., N.Y., William 
R. Parrott, of Smithtown, L.I., N.Y., Thomas L. Parrott, of Jackson Heights, 
N.Y. and Frank B. Parrott of Chattanooga, Tenn.; and two grandchildren.
The body will be taken from the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Blessed 
Sacrament Catholic Church for funeral services tomorrow at 9 a.m. Burial will be 
in St. Mary's Cemetery.
