Virginian Pilot November 10, 1911

Mrs. Mary I. Parrott, widow of Robert D. Parrott, died at her home, No. 21 
DeBree Place, at 1:30 o'clock yesterday after an illness of two weeks, in the 
79th year of her age. The deceased was a native of Accomack County, Va., but had 
been a resident of Norfolk over sixty years, where she was loved and esteemed 
for her many beautiful traits of character. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. 
H.N. Poulson and two sons, Robert D. and Frank B. Parrott, all of Norfolk. The 
funeral will be held from St. Mary's Catholic Church, of which she was a member, 
at 10 o'clock this morning.
