The Virginian Pilot May 16, 1962
Mrs. Bessie Small Parrott, 76, widow of Charles Parrott and daughter of 
Benjamin T. and Mrs. Lavinia Whitehurst Small, died in Mary F. Ballentine Home 
Tuesday at 3 p.m.
She was a lifelong resident of Norfolk and a member of Wesley Memorial 
Methodist Church.
She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Frederick A. Karn Sr. and step-sister, Mrs. 
Frank E. Stephens, both of Norfolk.
A funeral service will be conducted in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home Thursday at 
2 p.m.  Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
