Virginian-Pilot, January 31, 1900
Mr. and Mrs. Lum [Columbus] Parson of No. 110 Hughes Street, had the misfortune 
to lose by death at 7:30 o'clock last night their infant daughter, Nellie, aged 
3 weeks. Funeral will be announced later.

Burial in Elmwood Cemetery. The address confirms Columbus Parsons' name.
