Parsons, daughter of Mrs. Emily B. and the late M.F. Parsons, occurs at 4 p.m. today from the residence, No. 341 Chapel Street, Rev. Dr. Joseph Rennie of the First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Interment in Elmwood Dispatch, Aug. 9, 1911, pg. 12 Miss Eva E. Parsons, daughter of Mrs. Emily B. and the late M.F. Parsons, died at 7:30 a.m. today, at the family residence, No. 341 Chapel Street, after a long illness, although the end came quite suddenly. She was in her 39th year, was well known, and had many friends. Besides her mother, she leaves two sisters., Mrs. Wm. Murphy, of Atlanta, Ga., and Mrs. Geo. Koner, of Washington, D.C., and a brother Wm. Parsons, of Norfolk. The funeral arrangements were not complete today. The funeral of Miss Eva Parsons was held from the family residence, 341 Chapel Street, at 4 o’clock yesterday afternoon and was largely attended. The service was conducted by Rev. Joseph Rennie, D.D., of the First Presbyterian Church, during which Miss Ruth Fulford sag as solos, “Abide With Me,” and “Beulah Land.” The interment was in Elmwood Cemetery. Following were the pall-bearers: W.P. Murphy, John Lyles, Otto Beck, George Crow, G.F. Fulford and Allen Ayres.
