Virginian-Pilot July 31, 1921
PARSONS, EMILY - On Friday, July 29, 1921, at 4:40 o’clock a.m., EMILY, widow of 
William T. Parsons and daughter of Mary J. and the late Peter Morton, in the 67th 
year of her age.
Remains will be taken from the residence, 648 South May avenue, to St. Mary’s 
Catholic Church for funeral service MONDAY MORNING at 10 o’clock. Friends of the 
family are invited to attend.


Additional Comments:
There is a discrepancy in her date of death - the death certificate and HD Oliver 
records show it to be on the 28th, while the newspaper obituary states it was the 
29th.
