B.R. Patrick, Jr., Of Bank's Staff, Dies After Illness

Bower Reynolds Patrick, Jr., 43, of 1316 Mallory Court, husband of Mrs. 
Beatrice Wynne Patrick, died last night at a Norfolk hospital after an 
illness of several months.
He was a son of Capt. Bower R. Patrick, USN, (Ret.) and Mrs. Jane Serpell 
Patrick, of Norfolk.
He was a native of San Francisco and had been living in Norfolk for many 
years.  He was associated with the Seaboard Citizens National Bank.
He was a member of Freemason Street Baptist Church.
Besides his wife and parents, survivors include two sons, Bower R. Patrick, 
III, and Allen Withers Patrick; three sisters, Mrs. Jane Patrick Thompson, 
of Long Beach, Calif.; Mrs. Elizabeth Patrick Hooper, of Washington, and 
Mrs. Alethea P. Edwards, of Richmond, and a brother, Capt. Goldsborough S. 
Patrick, USN, of Coronado, Calif. 
The body has been removed to the Cox Funeral Home.
