Pattee, whose death has been previously noted, was held from the residence of his son, Mr. S. B. Pattee, No. 83 Duke Street, at 10:30 a.m. yesterday, and was largely attended. The services were conducted by Rev. B. D. Tucker, D.D. of St. Paul's Episcopal Church. During the solemn exercises Miss Ethel Neely saang "Nearer, My God, to Thee.", and while the casket was being borne from the edifice "Come Ye Disconsolate". The remains were laid to rest in Elmwood Cemetery. Following were the pall- bearers: Messrs. P.W. Carney, C.A. Morehead, W.A. Mapp, James W. Willis,T.D. Williams and Charles Koster.
