Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Friday, August 18, 2000 
Retired U.S. Army SFC Benjamin Patterson III, 43, of the 300 block of Belle
Ridge Court, passed away Aug. 10, 2000, in San Antonio, Texas.

He leaves in loving memory his wife, Randolyn Patterson; a son, Benjamin
Patterson; a daughter, Amber Jeanette Patterson; his parents, Benjamin Patterson
Jr. and Jeanette Patterson; a brother, Gregory, his wife, Edith Patterson, and
son; a sister, Gladys Patterson, two daughters and one son; four uncles; seven
aunts; cousins and other relatives.

A funeral will be conducted by Fr. Dorgan at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Basilica of
St. Mary's of the Immaculate Conception. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . A
wake service will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. tonight in the chapel of Graves
Funeral Home, Norfolk.
