Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark November 9, 1919

Mrs. Mary Catherine Paul, aged 35 years, died yesterday morning at 11:55 o'clock 
at the family residence, 602 West Liberty street, after an illness of three 
months.  Mrs. Paul was a native of Berkley and had lived here all her life.  She 
was a daughter of the late C.H. and Mrs. Mary Snyder Darnell and wife of Harry 
Paul.
Besides her husband, she is survived by the following children:  Margaret, 
Lottie, Harry, Robert, Earl and Alvah Paul; and the following brothers and 
sisters:  Mrs. W.K. Derby, Raleigh, N.C.; Mrs. C.H. Cox, William W. Darnell, 
George W. Darnell, B.F. Darnell, of Berkley. The funeral will be conducted at 
the above residence Monday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock and burial will be in the 
family lot in Magnolia Cemetery.
