Norfolk Virginian Pilot Saturday January 31, 1948
Mrs. Jennie L. Marshall Paxson, 71, widow of Paschal W. Paxson, died at the 
residence of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. P.E. Harris, 1040 St. 
Lawrence Avenue, Oaklette, Norfolk County, yesterday at 2:45 p.m. after an 
illness of three years.
She was a native of Chesapeake City, Md., and had been a resident of Oaklette 
for 52 years. She was a daughter of the late W.L. and Mrs. Jennie Wilson 
Marshall.
In addition to her daughter, she is survived by three grandchildren and one 
great-grandchild.
The body will be taken from the Cox Funeral Home to Oaklette Methodist Church, 
of which she was a member, for funeral services tomorrow at 2 p.m. by the Rev. 
L.V. Ruckman, Sr., pastor. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
