Payette, 81, widow of Herman Dos Payette and daughter of Patrick J. and Mrs. Margaret Byrnes, died at a Norfolk hospital yesterday at 7:20 p.m. She was a native of Marshalltown, Iowa and a resident of Norfolk for the past 37 years, residing at 1101 Cambridge Crescent at the time of her death. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, the Sodality of that church and the Ancient Order Hiberians. She is survived by two sons, Russell J. Payette and Walter S. Payette of Norfolk; one granddaughter, Mrs. Frank Fahrig Jr., of Norfolk; one grandson, R. James Payette, USMC; three great-grandchildren and five sisters, Mrs. William Coxsworth of Nevada, Iowa, Mrs. Mary Robinson of Catalina Isle, Calif., Mrs. Harry Wikel of Longville, Minn., Mrs. Daniel Mulligan of Roseville, Calif. and Mrs. W.W. Williams of Santa Barbara, Calif. The body will be taken from the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church for services tomorrow at 11 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Rosary services will be conducted at the funeral apartments tonight at 8:30 o'clock. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that friends contribute to masses. ***************************************************************************** PAYETTE, MARGARET A. – At a local hospital, Thursday, February 21, 1957, at 7:20 p.m., MARGARET A. PAYETTE, widow of Herman Dos Payette, and daughter of the late Patrick J. and Margaret Byrnes, in the 82nd year of her age. Remains will be taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 Colonial Avenue, to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church for services SATURDAY MORNING, at 11 o’clock. Interment, St. Mary’s Cemetery. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, friends contribute to masses.
