NORFOLK - Mrs. Maude Marie Payette, 74, of 3401 Bapaume Ave., died Tuesday in a 
hospital.
A native of Centerdale, R.I., she lived here 33 years.
She was a daughter of John and Mrs. Lea Mitchell and the widow of Aldor J. 
Payette Sr.
She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church.
She is survived by two sons, Aldor J. Payette Jr. of Chesapeake and Thomas 
Payette of Norfolk, and three grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted Thursday at 10 a.m. in Christ the King 
Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery with Smith & 
Williams Funeral Home in charge.
