William Payton - Funeral service for Mr. Payton who died Tuesday, July 26, at a
local  hospital, was held at First Baptist Church, Logan Park, on July 31 with
the Rev. Mr. Howell, pastor, in charge.  Interment was in Calvary Cemetery.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Lydia Payton;   father, Joseph Payton; 
mother, Mrs. Ella Hodges Payton;  three daughters, Miss Mildred Payton, Miss
Mary Ella and Shirley Ann Payton;  four brothers;  three sisters and other
relatives.
