Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Wednesday, August 21, 1991
Doretha Delois Payton of the 1700 block of Vernon Drive, died Aug. 19, 1991.
Mrs. Payton, a Methodist, was born in Norfolk. She was the widow of Milton 
Payton Sr.
Survivors include five daughters, Wilhelmina Taylor, Barbara Jean Payton, 
Laverne Payton, Patricia Payton and Carolyn Payton, and three sons, Edward 
Spencer, Milton Payton Jr. and Brehon Payton, all of Norfolk; a sister, 
Christine Foskey of Virginia Beach; three brothers, James Baker, Richard 
Baker Jr. and Ralph Foskey, all of Norfolk; and six grandchildren.
The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Magnolia 
Cemetery by the Rev. J.L. Kearney Sr. Family and friends will assemble at 
10:45 a.m. at the cemetery. Hale Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
