Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - January 5, 1991
Richard "Cool Water" Peace Jr., of the 1000 block of Godfrey Ave., a laborer, 
died Jan. 1, 1991, in a hospital.
Mr. Peace, a native of Henderson, N.C., was employed with Square Deal 
Demolition Inc. for five years. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include a daughter, Evelina Chandler; his mother, Matilda Peace; and 
two sisters, Nettie L. Carrington and Georgianna McCless, all of Norfolk; and 
two grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Metropolitan Funeral Home 
by the Rev. Frank Jennings. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. Family and 
friends will assemble at 1044 Godfrey Ave. at noon for the procession.
