Virginia Sherry Peacock, 77, of the 800 block of Baldwin Ave., died Nov. 14, 1995, 
in a Norfolk hospital.

Mrs. Peacock was born in Norfolk. She was the widow of James L. Peacock. She was a 
member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Norfolk. Mrs. Peacock was a graduate of 
DePaul School of Nursing and was retired from Norfolk General Hospital after 29 
years of service.

Survivors include two daughters, Pamela P. Ginn, Patricia A. Yanez; a son, Jeffrey 
L. Peacock; a sister, Mrs. Samuel S. Stoakley, all of Norfolk; and eight 
grandchildren.

A funeral Mass will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 
by Fr. John J. Dorgan. Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Norfolk. 
Memorial donations may be made to Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters, 601 
Children's Lane, Norfolk, Va. 23507. The family will be at 1410 Gates Ave., 
Norfolk, Va. 23507. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel, is handling 
arrangements.
