Virginian-Pilot March 1, 1969
NORFOLK - Mrs. Ethel 0. Pearson, 75, of 4705 Newport Ave. died in a hospital 
Friday.
She was the widow of James Thomas Pearson and a daughter of Robert and Mrs. 
Pearl Hicks Perry.
A native of Baltimore, she lived here 55 years. She was a Methodist.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Virginia Pearson Cullifer of Norfolk and 
Mrs. Margaret Pearson Flanagan and Mrs. Mary Pearl Pickard of Chesapeake; a 
sister, Mrs. Fannie Pearson Lortz of Baltimore, eight grandchildren; and 10 
great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments Monday at 11 
a.m. by the Rev. Donald H. Traylor of Colonial Methodist Church. Burial will be 
in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
