He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Maud Mayo Pebworth. Mr. Pebworth was a native of Portsmouth and made his home in this section all of his life until 13 years ago when he moved to Newport News. He was a member of Memorial Methodist Church in Berkley and of the Knights of Pythians, of Portsmouth. Mr. Pebworth was left an orphan, and was among the few survivors here during the yellow fever epidemic. The body was removed to the Graham Funeral Home, 124 East Berkley avenue, where funeral services will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Burial will be in the Magnolia Cemetery.
