Norfolk Virginian December 25, 1885

PEBWORTH - Thursday morning December 24th, 1885, at 6:15 o'clock, Mrs. MARY 
C. PEBWORTH, wife of James N. Pebworth, aged 45 years.
Funeral will take place at Christ P.E. Church SATURDAY MORNING at 10 
o'clock.  Friends of the family are respectfully invited to attend.

The funeral of Mrs. Mary C. Pebworth took place from Christ P.E. Church 
yesterday morning at 10 o'clock, and was largely attended.  Rev. O.S. Barten 
conducted the services after which the remains were carried to Elmwood 
Cemetery, the following gentlemen acting as pallbearers:  Messrs. E.W. Face, 
John T. Reid, Wm. Rawlins, Robert Fletcher, Henry Parker, George Consolvo 
and J.W. Gregory.
