Pebworth, who died at his home, 517 Poole street, yesterday morning at 1:40 o'clock, following a stroke of paralysis a few hours earlier had not been arranged up to a late hour last night. Mr. Pebworth was stricken with paralysis Monday night about 11 o'clock and died shortly afterwards. He was a native of Norfolk and had been in the blacksmith business for a number of years. He had a number of friends in this city and was widely known. He was a member of the Central Baptist church and was also a prominent figure in fraternity circles. He is survived by his wife and seven children, Russell R. Pebworth, of Boston, Mrs. T.E. Bonniville, Miss Jennie Pebworth, Mrs. A.B. Bell, Marshall Pebworth and Otto Pebworth, all of Norfolk and Mrs. Charles H. Insley of York county, Va.; two brothers, J.B. and J.N. Pebworth, both of Norfolk and three grandchildren. ************************************************ PEBWORTH - Suddenly, at his residence, 517 Poole street, Tuesday morning, June 26, 1917, at 1:40 o'clock, RICHARD A. PEBWORTH, age 56 years. Funeral services from the Central Baptist church, THURSDAY AFTERNOON, June 28, at 3 o'clock. Friends of the family invited to attend. Interment Elmwood cemetery.
