NORFOLK - Bess Pachino Peck, 90, died Feb. 23, 2003. She was a native of 
Baltimore, MD, daughter of the late Louis and Hilda Pachino and she was the 
widow of Julius Peck. She was a member of Gomley Chesed, Congregation Beth el 
and Chabad Lubavitch.
Survivors include her daughter, Honey Verscleisser; her three sons, Stanley 
Peck and wife Nancy, David Peck and Aaron Peck and wife Carol; her sister, 
Esther P. Cohen; brother, Daniel Pachino; 26 grandchildren; and 22 great-
grandchildren.
Graveside services were conducted Monday and the family will be observing Shiva 
for the week at the home of Stanley Peck.
The family would like to offer thanks to her caregivers, Linda Hodges, Thelma 
Burgett and Ivy Jackson, and would also like to express their gratitude to the 
staff at the Beth Sholom Home, especially Tammy Ayscue, Susan Riggs, Helga 
Burney and Marie Wilkins for the loving care given to Mrs. Peck.
