Julius Peck, 91, of Beth Sholom Home, died Jan. 28, 1998, in his residence.
Mr. Peck was the founder of Peck Iron & Metal Company. He was a member of 
Gomley Chesed Congregation in Portsmouth for more than 50 years and a member of 
Congregation Beth El in Norfolk. 
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Bess Pachino Peck; a daughter, Honey 
Serchleisser of Baltimore, MD; three sons, Stanley and his wife Nancy, David 
Peck of Richmond, Aaron and his wife, Carol Peck, of Virginia Beach; a brother, 
Earl Peck of Richmond; 16 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and a 
special caregiver, Melvine Cradle.
A graveside service was conducted Wednesday at B'Nai Israel Cemetery by Rabbi 
Aaron Margolin. The family is sitting Shiva at Harbor Place Condominium, 501, 
Norfolk. H. D. Oliver Funeral Apts, Norfolk Chapel, handled arrangements.
