Josephine Peede, 76, of the 1200 block of Lead St., died Feb. 13, 2004, at
Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. She was born June 12, 1928, in
Charlottesville, Va. to the late Mary Summerville and Paul Henry. She was a
member of Enoch Baptist Church, Norfolk.
She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, Carolyn Wilson; one son, Daniel
Henry; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Metropolitan Funeral
Service, 7246 Granby St., the Rev. Francis Askew officiating. Interment will be
at Calvary Cemetery, Norfolk. Family and friends will assemble at 1224 Lead St.
one hour prior to the service for the procession to the chapel. The family will
receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
